Event: Social Protection and Disability

We are delighted to invite you for an evening event in London next Tuesday, the 20th of June, at 5:45 pm to the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine with Stephen Kidd.

The topic will be Social Protection and Disability and it will include talks by leading experts as well as an opportunity for discussion followed by a drinks reception.

  1. Professor Hannah Kuper, Director of the International Centre for Evidence in Disability, LSHTM: Introduction
  2. Dr Stephen Kidd, Development Pathways: “Building disability-inclusive social protection systems: challenges and good practice"
  3. Morgon Banks, LSHTM: “Disability-Inclusive Social Protection Research in Nepal and Vietnam”
  4. Question and Answers Session, led by Dr Ola Abu Alghaib, Head of Influencing, Impact and Learning at Leonard Cheshire Disability.

The talk will be chaired by Professor Nora Groce, Director, Leonard Cheshire Disability & Inclusive Development Centre, UCL.
