Posted on February 18, 2013

Location: Ethiopia

Client / Partners: Maxwell Stamp PLC; Jarrco Consulting; QED Group

Project Details: Ethiopia End Child Marriage Programme (ECMP) aims to support the Government of Ethiopia to end child marriage for at least 200,00 adolescent girls in East and West Gojam zones of the Amhara region.

Development Pathways are a consortium member with Maxwell Stamp PLC, Jarrco Consulting and QED. We lead on developing the underpinning theory of change for the programme and provided the technical lead on social protection, gender and child policies. Development Pathways designed the M&E framework to be implemented by a local counterpart and the implementation manual for the delivery of a cash transfer component, which would test the impact on school enrollment on girls in response to unconditional and conditional cash transfers.
