Imogen Howells
Senior Social Protection Specialist
Imogen Howells is a Senior Social Protection Specialist with Development Pathways with 15 years’ experience developing international and national policies and frameworks. Imogen is based in Jordan, working as a Senior Social Protection Adviser in our FCDO-funded project, Shamil. Imogen’s global stakeholder network includes governments, NGOs, employers’ organizations, trade unions, academics and multilateral actors. Imogen has worked on social security and social development projects globally, with extensive experience in Southeast Asia, on universalizing social protection within the context of decent work. She recently worked closely with WFP Cambodia, on a Process Evaluation for the National Home-Grown School Feeding Programme. Imogen has also worked in evaluation of social protection, in the Asia Pacific as well as in Africa, for example on extension of social assistance schemes in Africa.
