Nicholas is an independent consultant on social security policy, with over forty years in international development, covering some fifty countries. He is currently part of the European Commission’s Advisory Service in Social Transfers (ASiST), and has been an active member of DFAT’s Expert Panel on Social Protection since its inception. He has a successful track record of working with government institutions at policy, strategic and operational levels, and has undertaken assignments through Development Pathways on Lesotho, Bangladesh, Kenya and Belize.
