We are excited to announce that our Australia office is now open. Our new hub, serving our Asia Pacific projects, will further strengthen our offering in the region.
Chief Executive Office, Jonathan Faulkner, commended the team on their work to date: “Enhancing our offering in the Asia Pacific is something we have been developing for a long time, so it’s excellent to see the team’s efforts come to fruition. I’m optimistic that we will have a real impact on people’s welfare here”.
The Asia Pacific region is highly vulnerable to shocks including climate change, economic shifts and health crises, which, as analysed in our recent research, can rapidly send people into poverty. Building resilience through improved social policy and systems has the potential to mitigate the devastating impact these shocks have on people’s lives.
We are looking forward to developing our partnerships in the region, and offering our expertise in social policy, economic and statistical analysis, and digital technologies where they are most needed.
