On 13-14 November 2024, our Shamil team supported the Multi-Regional Global Disability Pre-Summit in Jordan. The Pre-Summit was part of Jordan’s preparations to co-host the Third Global Disability Summit in collaboration with the Federal Republic of Germany and the International Disability Alliance (IDA), scheduled in Berlin in April 2025.
During the national consultations, Stephen Kidd, Principal Social Security Specialist at Development Pathways, presented a compelling case for implementing a comprehensive social security system in Jordan to support persons with disabilities better.
