Development Pathways is a consortium partner in the Social Protection, Inclusion and Gender Equality (SPRING) program, Australia’s flagship AUD 40 million investment supporting the Philippine Government on social protection, gender equality and disability and social inclusion. SPRING aims to support poverty and inequality reduction in the Philippines alongside improvements in inclusion for disadvantaged groups. The program focuses on strengthening the Philippine Government’s social protection programs and gender mainstreaming systems. SPRING will also strengthen the systems which provide services to people with disability and Indigenous Peoples.
Development Pathways is the technical lead on the social protection components of the program. Our role encompasses technical and capacity development support, facilitating connections with global social protection actors and contributing to the overall program governance. We collaborate closely with other consortium partners to strengthen social protection expertise in the Philippines and support the program’s engagement with both DFAT and Government of the Philippines priorities.
