The Social Protection Advice, Research and Capability building (SPARC) platform will assist Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s (DFAT) Social Protection team and Posts to support policy and program areas to progress Social Protection development program and policy agendas. It will enable DFAT staff to access high-quality advice to strengthen DFAT’s international development programming and policy engagement efforts related to social protection, poverty and community-driven development, predominantly in Asia.
SPARC will also develop and provide access to training on SP for DFAT staff and partners to contribute to capability building. It will provide access to direct in-line SP technical advisers in Asia.
