Cambodia Development Support Unit (CDSU)

The Cambodia Development Support Unit (CDSU) is managed by Development Pathways on behalf of the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAT). The CDSU seeks to support Cambodia’s sustainable growth into a resilient upper-middle income country that delivers inclusive growth for all citizens. This will be achieved through the provision of expert advice to the Australian Phnom Penh Embassy (Post) from technical advisors, and mainstreaming priorities reflected in the Australia-Cambodia Development Partnership Plan (DPP) into activities and projects supported by the CDSU.

Support will be delivered under two pillars: 1) Aid Advisory Services (technical advice across a range of development sectors); 2) Aid Enabling Services – Flexible Fund (non-advisory services, including grants, short courses and trainings, strategic communications, and M&E).

CDSU is a new Australian Government investment of up to AUD 21.12 million over 8 years, commencing March 2025.
