International Day of Persons with Disabilities

3rd December is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. One billion people experience some form of disability, with the prevalence being higher for developing countries.

Development Pathways’ principal social policy specialist, Stephen Kidd, is a keynote speaker at the UNICEF event ‘Reimagining a Better Post-Pandemic World for Children with Disabilities’, which marks the Day. The conference aims to forge a pathway for a better and more inclusive environment that enables people and children living with disabilities access to support, services and opportunities so that they can reach their full potential.
